Déclic

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 13, 2026

Déclic is made by Rohit Bajaj. We built it to need as little of your data as possible. In short: no account, no ads, no tracking, and your learning data stays on your iPhone.

Data that stays on your device

Your profile (exam, target level, exam date, daily goal, reminder time, tutor code), your saved words, review progress and streak are stored only on your iPhone, inside the app and its widgets. We can't see them. Deleting the app deletes them.

Data we receive

What we don't do

Audio and notifications

Pronunciation uses Apple's built-in text-to-speech on your device. Reminders are local notifications scheduled on your iPhone; you can turn them off in Settings at any time.

Children

Déclic is meant for adults preparing for French exams and is not directed to children under 13.

Your choices

You can reset your learning progress in the app's Settings, turn off notifications, or delete the app to remove all local data. To ask about data held by our providers, contact us and we'll help.

Changes

If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the date above.
